A Youth ONLY Trout fishing event will be sponsored by the McSherrystown Fish & Game
for youth members and non-members 15 years and younger..
Non-Members youth may fish till Noon. Adults may assist youth but will not be able to fish.

After Noon Kaiser Lake will revert back to members only youth.
Note: All PA fishing license & Trout stamp are required if age applicable to fish on club property.
All PA fish Commission rules and limits also apply while fishing in Kaiser Pond unless otherwise posted.

Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Every year the McSherrystown Fish and Game sponsors a Childrens Easter Egg Hunt.

The egg hunt is open to children 10 and under and is held on the grounds at the McSherrystown Fish and Game.

Prizes and candy award to participating children.

SOY Youth Field Day

SOY Adams County has establish a permanent home at McSherrystown Fish and Game.  Help is still needed to introduce Youth under 16 to all the great things the outdoors offers including Archery, Fly Tying, 22 Rifle, Trapping, Fishing, Shogun Shooting, Black Powder, and more. Organizational meetings are the Third Wednesdays of the Month, March 19, April 16 and May 21 at 7:00PM at the Club. Registration opens in February, Please Register yur youth by May 15th.  Sponsors are also needed to help fund the event recognition is on the free T-Shirt we give to every youth. PA Hunter's Safety Course

Pennsylvania Hunter-Trapper Education
Lunch Provided by the CLub
All registrants for this event must be 11 years of age by July 12, 2025.
This is a six-hour training class required by law for all first-time hunters and trappers before they can buy a license. You must pass a certification exam at the end of the class to complete this training.
In order to prepare for your class, read Chapters 1, 4, 5 and 9 located at Today's Hunter & Trapper in PA.

McSherrystown Fish and Game Fishing Rodeo

Every year the McSherrystown Fish and Game sponsors a youth fishing Derby held at Kaiser Lake.
The Derby is open to all youths 15 years of age and under.

Prizes awarded to participating youth. Breakfast and refreshments served.

Firearm Ranges will be closed until Noon
