Basic Firearm Range Rules Updated: 1/1/2025

1.Members can only have one adult guest 16 years or older -Any member bringing immediate family may have only one child 15 or younger allowed on the firing line at a time. -Other immediate family must stand behind the firing line. -Final decision will be at the discretion of the Range Captain. 2.Alcoholic beverages are prohibited 3.No fully automatic weapons allowed. No Rapid Fire shooting 4.No targets other than paper targets hung on the shooting Matts allowed. No personalized silhouettes targets allowed. NO CARDBOARD 5.Shooting at cans, unauthorized targets or the posts/structure is prohibited 6.Range will open at 8:00am daily except for Sundays at 9:00am. Range will close daily according to the close of hunting hours in the Pennsylvania Game Regulations/DUSK 7.During official functions of the club, Mowing, and Maintenance – Firearm Ranges can be closed. 8.Hunting Seasons – closed first day of Small game. Closed for entire regular firearm deer season. 9.No shotguns or pistols on the rifle range. No Rifles (or centerfire rifle calipers) on the Shotgun or Pistol Ranges. 10.Remove targets and trash after you are done. Pickup brass place in containers, steel/aluminum cases go in trash. 11.Communicate with other shooters. Use red saflty flags on Rifle Range Do not enter range while others are shooting. 12.Ignorance of the rules is no excuse for violating the rules. 13.Membership can be suspended or revoked by the Board of Trustees for violation of the rules. |

History-In March 29th 1977 the club formed a blackpowder committee. The results from these efforts produced the Conewago Long Rifles. Over the years an annual Black Powder Rendezeous was held on the club grounds.
